Soccer i.Q,5

Quick restarts is method of concentration and quick thinking from smart players that every player should consider. " The referee whistled for a free kick 25 yards from goal. The defending team assembled its wall. Its goalkeeper was out of position and paying no attention to the ball. So she quickly stepped up and shot the ball into the empty goal." (Blank 60).

This is a real life example of a women's NCAA National Championship final, the most important game of the year. A national championship was won because one player realized that she could take advantage of a napping opponent. Even at the highest of level of soccer, when a referee blows his or her whistle, lots of players lose their concentration, which leave opportunities for players to recognize mental breaks. And smart players will recognize that every time.
