This basically sums up what most people think about call of duty.While many of the people online in the game may not have microphones, the majority that do are bound to call out slander and profanity about your mother.Dealing with these people is really easy, and can be done with just a few simple steps.
Step one: THE MUTE BUTTON. IT REALLY WORKS AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO HEAR A WORD THEY ARE SAYING.
Step two: Many times there will be issues where the enemy team is a lot better than you, and overall you are doing terrible. quitting the current game you are in is always an option, but only use it when things are really bad, as quitting can affect your stats (if you really care about them).
step three: go outside. make friends. it's better to do that than to meet people online who's only goal in life is to be better at you in a video game, and to tell you all about it by telling you how much you suck.
While there isn't much on multiplayer in the book other than map info, dealing with the online community is a must know survival technique when it comes to playing a game you want to enjoy.
