Soccer iQ

Soccer is beautiful sport that includes a lot of physical activity but little do people know is that soccer isn't just a game of kicking a ball back and forth the field. It involves a lot of technique and skill in order to win games with the best performances.

In soccer the littlest of things matter in a game situation, in order to make you the best player you can be for your team. "For this book to make a difference you have to believe that the little things matter and that even one of them is enough to win or loose you a game" (Blank 1). For those who don't play soccer the little things Dan Blank is talking about would be as simple as passing during game play, positioning , or what to do with or without the ball, and going in dept. on what exactly what you should do and how you react.

Other ways Blank explains this in the book is for example most players feel like they have to make the game winning decision via action every time they get the ball but playing simple and fast goes along way rather then trying to be "Messi" and dribble and most likely turn over the ball. Are other sports the same way as soccer, do they believe in the little things that matter?
Here is an example of the European team "Aresenal" passing and moving off the ball leading up to a goal.
